Creating Community

Potluck Open House As pagans, or practitioners of alternative traditions or spiritual paths, we often find ourselves isolated from others. Even those who choose to be solitary in their practice, can still benefit from contact with like minds. That is why we are planning monthly potlucks here at Avalon Pagan Centre (normally on the 3rd Sunday of the month). Check out our Facebook page for exact dates and to register. Now that winter is here, the potluck will be a chance to get out and socialize, meet other folk, and make new friends. We’ll have a bonfire, maybe some mulled wine, music and a chance to talk and share. Feel free to bring your instruments, as well as a food contribution.

Weddings

Avalon Pagan Centre is available for pagan weddings! We have had handfastings here before, and Anne is a Justice of the Peace as well as a Wiccan priestess, so we can make your handfasting an official civil marriage. Contact Anne at sunriseweddingscb@gmail.com to book.

Classes & Workshops

Classes and workshops range from breadmaking to Wicca 101 and much more. Follow us on Facebook @avalonpagancentre to keep up to date.

Events, Rituals & Festivals

Events will be posted on Facebook. Sabbat rituals will fall on or near their regular dates.

Campouts & Retreats

Keep an eye on Facebook for news of campouts and retreat weekends.
Avalon Pagan Centre welcomes participation. If you or your group wish to come down and make use of our ritual space, please let us know. Our aim is to grow the pagan community and to create connection. The nature sanctuary is an important part of the equation. As people become more removed from the natural world, they by extension lose their connection to what is authentic and valuable in life. Spending time in nature can be a healing process. Anyone who wants to come down and find peace in our forest, or hike our trails, is welcome at Avalon Pagan Centre & Nature Sanctuary, regardless of their spiritual path.
